Who we are

’Utuma’atu is a community sailing cargo boat for the Tongan islands. We transport cargo and passengers, train youth and connect outer islands using clean, economic wind and solar power.

The ’Utuma’atu is a non-profit vessel managed by the Talanoa and Development Project and operated in Tonga by the Ongo Niua Community Company. All contributions help the vaka sail and serve our Tongan island communities.
